Paperweight (“I”, “me”) processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What I collect. If you contact me via the form, WhatsApp or email, I receive the details you choose to send: your name, business, contact details and message. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Why. Solely to respond to your enquiry and, if we work together, to deliver the service. You are not added to any mailing list.

Client data during an engagement. Access to your systems is agreed in writing before it begins, limited to what the work requires, and revoked at the end. I do not retain copies of your client records.

Retention. Enquiry details are kept for up to 12 months unless we start working together, after which engagement records are kept as required for tax and contractual purposes.

Your rights. You may ask what I hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing hello@paperweight.co.za. Complaints may be directed to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
